The 2nd Glitch Festival kicked off last month to celebrate the digital creativity in the arts. Each year, RUA RED prepares a series of amazing exhibitions, workshops and screenings to explore the subject of the modern technology and media in the artistic realm.
This time, the Glitch has focused on Collective Intelligence, Open Source Technology and Immersive Technology. As a result, visitors have been introduced to inventive processes, blurring the line between the virtual and real world. Among the upcoming events there are Jacob Kirkegaard’s Labyrithitis and the Spatial Music Collective’s show. Whereas the former is an amazing live performance manipulating the sounds and science, the latter embraces a 360° performance from live musicians accompanied by electronic multichannel compositions.
Jacob Kirkegaard will perform this Thursday at 8pm and The Collective will take over RUA RED the following day also at 8pm. The festival finishes this Saturday.
